Kristin Schroeder

Kristin is EquiLend’s Chief People Officer, responsible for global people strategy and operations. Kristin joined EquiLend in 2025 from the company’s private equity sponsor, Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe (WCAS). 

At WCAS, Kristin served as an Operating Partner, Talent on the Technology team and partnered with WCAS’s technology portfolio companies to build world-class leadership teams. She has two decades of talent experience spanning executive search, corporate recruiting, and talent advisory. 

Prior to WCAS, Kristin was with Bain & Company, where she led the Financial Services and Private Equity verticals in the Americas for the Bain Executive Network. She was a key architect of Bain’s LeadershipLink solution which translates portfolio company value creation plans into leadership talent strategies. Earlier, she built her career at Russell Reynolds Associates and The Blackstone Group.

Kristin holds an M.A. in Social Organizational Psychology from Columbia University and a B.A. from Lehigh University.
