Vice President, Software Engineering (NY, NY):
Initiate system analysis. Lead the definition of user requirements and assess impacts. Schedule and prioritize work and plan a sequence of development activities that accomplish the planned targets. Set priorities and provide reports to the management. Perform application system’s development tasks which include design, code, test, debug and document programs. Prepare and review the technical design documents and other deliverables. Coordinate development activities. Evaluate, report performance of project. Mentor team members in design and analysis activities. Coordinate with Business users to get the Business UAT. Prepare Weekly/Monthly status reports. Plan and coordinate tests. Resolve production problem. Identify the opportunities and conduct research for improvement of the systems and architecture. Provide technical maintenance for very complex, highly critical programs and systems. Perform job duties using: Windows and Linux, Java, Multi-threading, J2EE stack [Servlets, JDBC, JSP], Spring and Spring Boot, Ext JS, React JS, JDK memory management tools, GIT, Apache ANT, Maven, Gradle, Oracle11g, PostgreSQL, Apache Tomcat, WebLogic, Eclipse, IntelliJ, Design patterns, UML, MQ, Kafka, Elasticsearch, and Redis Cache.
Requirements: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Applications, Computer Science, Engineering (Comp/Mech/Electronic), or related field, plus 3 years of experience in position involving similar duties/technical capabilities.
$167,500/Yr.
