We understand that our clients and partners may have questions about any possible cyber risk to the ongoing situation in Ukraine/Russia. EquiLend is monitoring the situation closely and will update this page should anything change.

At this time, we would like to assure our clients and partners that EquiLend has no physical presence or dependency in the region, including employees, infrastructure, data and subcontractors.

Additionally:

  • EquiLend has increased our cybersecurity monitoring efforts globally, to ensure the safety, confidentiality, integrity, availability and privacy of all data and information belonging to ourselves, our clients and our partners. This is on top of EquiLend’s always-on mature and thorough cybersecurity monitoring.
  • We are following guidelines issued by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), the NCSC, the European Central Bank (ECB) and other agencies.
  • We are refreshing and reminding all employees and contractors of best practices around cyber security to ensure increased vigilance of all those who touch EquiLend’s data and information.

Due to our robust cybersecurity protocols and defense-in-depth strategy, we are confident that the risk of this conflict on EquiLend’s systems is limited. We have increased the level of monitoring of our environment and will update our clients if anything should change.
